Description

Silk Crepe fabric became especially desired after Pippa Middleton wore it as a long gown when she was bridesmaid at her sister's royal wedding. The dress was buttoned down the back and it became an iconic image. Double Crepe Silk Fabric weight flatters the more curvey and streamlined figures alike. It tailors very well and can be made up into dresses, long wide leg trousers, skirts and cowl neck tops.

Is this silk crepe see through or transparent?

This silk crepe is not see through but if you want to line it we suggest using a soft lining such as silk habotai, cotton lawn or polyester habotai. These soft linings don’t interfere with the beautiful drape of the silk. It would be very unusal to line a blouse or top made from this silk.

Europe Standard post cost is between €8 and €85

Worldwide Standard post cost is between €10 and €85

Ireland Courier DPD - with tracking is €9.50

This depends on weight, destination and package type. Standard post does not have a tracking number unless the weight is over 2kg. Please note courier service is only available within Ireland.

We cannot issue refunds for fabric that has been cut to measure from the roll. However, if, in spite of our meticulous quality checks, you need to return fabric because it is flawed, we will issue a full refund including shipping charges. This is on condition that the fabric is returned within 14 days and that it has not been cut into. We can refund Haberdashery if you have changed your mind as long as it has not been cut to measure from a roll. It has to be returned to us in the same new condition. This refund does not include postage.
