The Parisian street of Boulevard Raspail, stretching for over 2 km, is lined between Rue de Grenelle and Boulevard Saint-Germain with Haussmannian buildings: the iconic architecture of the capital. Bd Raspail Taupe, the first iteration of this new fabric, features Haussmannian colors. The characteristic cut stone of the facades from that era sets the tone. A luminous ecru hue gives rhythm to the stripe, contrasted by the deep black for the railings and taupe glimpsed in the shadows of the decorative pediments. An urban and chic canvas.

What to do with a 180 cm wide cotton fabric?

With its generous width of 180cm, this fabric is perfectly suited for making door curtains, table linens (tablecloths, napkins, placemats), soft furnishings, and upholstery. The dyes used for our yarns allow for repeated washings while maintaining their color.

How to care for the fabric?

This cotton canvas is perfectly suited for indoor and outdoor use. However, as cotton is a natural, living fiber, UV rays will alter its color over time. We advise you to store it in a sheltered place when not in use to protect it from the sun's and moon's UV rays. Before the first wash, immerse the canvas in cold water for 24 hours; this will minimize shrinkage. Machine washable at 60°C on a gentle spin cycle. Do not tumble dry.

Is this fabric pre-shrunk?

No, this fabric is sold as loom-falling, meaning it has not undergone any treatment. Allow for a shrinkage rate of 11.5% in length and 4% in width.

We prepare orders on the same day that they are placed if they are placed on our opening days if not they will be prepared the following open day.

Orders are sent via An Post (Standard Postal Services from Ireland) or with DHL Courier within Ireland.

Post orders are dispatched the same day if orders are placed before 3.00 pm Monday to Friday. You will get a notification saying Shipped when it has been posted.

Within Ireland we use standard post not registered (tracked) post unless the weight is over 2kg. Please select the DHL option if you need a tracking number.

An Post will deliver your package so you should expect it between 9 a.m– 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.

If you’re not there when they call, they’ll leave information with details on how to pick it up.

They usually deliver within 2 days. This might take longer during busy periods.

For countries outside Ireland we will send you the tracking number. The delivery times will vary, please contact us for time estimates.

Orders going by DHL courier are collected by the courier the same day if the order is placed before 11.00 am Monday to Friday. You will receive a notification from the courier with an estimated delivery. Once they collect the order from us they usually deliver it the next working day.

We cannot issue refunds for fabric that has been cut to measure from the roll. However, if, in spite of our meticulous quality checks, you need to return fabric because it is flawed, we will issue a full refund including shipping charges. This is on condition that the fabric is returned within 14 days and that it has not been cut into. We can refund Haberdashery if you have changed your mind as long as it has not been cut to measure from a roll. It has to be returned to us in the same new condition. This refund does not include postage.
